For decades, the Albert S Samuels clock stood in front of Samuels & Co Jewelers, “the Home of Lucky Wedding Rings.”
Originally, both the store and the clock were near the corner of Fifth and Market (as shown in the top picture), but when Samuels moved his store across the street, he had his clock moved, as well.
Samuels & Co was absorbed by a conglomerate years ago, but the Samuels Clock remains.
